- CHILDSPAN
- CHILDSPAN offers training and consultation to care and education providers throughout the state. Thousands of early childhood, school-age, and youth service practitioners have participated in CHILDSPAN's workshops, conferences, and series-based training. CHILDSPAN also hosts a lending library of nearly 5,000 books, videos, educational toys, prop boxes, and program resources.

- Family Child Care Homes of Rhode Island is an independent, non-profit statewide association formed in 1978 to assist family child care providers in imparting quality child care, increasing their professionalism, and facilitating networking between providers and organizations.

- Providence After School Alliance
- The Providence After School Alliance (PASA) is a public/private venture that is working to expand and improve the quality of after school opportunities for the youth of Providence by building a system of after school supports, including training for school-age providers.

- Ready to Learn Providence
- Ready to Learn Providence (R2LP) supports programs that improve the quality of early care education in the city of Providence, such as professional development for providers and literacy activities for parents. Parents and providers play a key role on R2LP committees and teams, helping to shape policies that affect their daily lives and the well-being of their children

- The Rhode Island After School Plus Alliance is a statewide advocacy and mobilizing organization whose mission is to affect public policy to expand and support high quality after-school programming so that Rhode Island's children and youth are safe, supervised and prepared to lead productive lives.

- Rhode Island Association for the Education of Young Children
- The Rhode Island Association for the Education of Young Children (RIAEYC) supports professionals in their work by promoting quality education and the healthy development of children ages birth through eight. RIAEYC is the local affiliate of the National Association of the Education of Young Children. BrightStars, Rhode Island’s child care quality rating and improvement system, is managed by RIAEYC.

- Rhode Island Child Care Facilities Fund
- The Rhode Island Child Care Facilities Fund at LISC Rhode Island provides the capital and technical expertise that child care programs need to improve the quality and capacity of their physical space. The Fund assists licensed child care centers and homes that are committed to providing high quality care and to serving low-income children eligible for DHS subsidies – from infancy through school-age years. The Fund provides a combination of training, technical assistance and flexible, affordable financing, whether it is for a minor renovation or for construction of a new, state-of-the-art child care facility.

- Rhode Island Early Learning Standards Project
- The Rhode Island Early Learning Standards (RIELS) provide guidance to families, teachers and administrators on what children should know and be able to do as they enter kindergarten. RIELS offers a variety of professional development opportunities administered through the Rhode Island Department of Education. Sessions are specifically designed for Rhode Island’s Early Care and Education teachers and administrators to strengthen quality in early childhood programs.
