Position Description:
Support the lead teacher by aiding in classroom management, implementing lessons, and providing child care, all while creating a safe and engaging learning atmosphere for young children.

Key Responsibilities:

Classroom Support:
Assist the lead teacher in executing lesson plans and activities.
Help maintain a clean, organized, and secure classroom environment.
Supervise children during free play, structured activities, and transitions.
Prepare and serve snacks and lunches.
Assist in getting children ready for nap time and supervise them during this period.

Child Care:
Offer individual attention and support to children as needed.
Monitor children’s behavior and inform the teacher of any concerns.
Foster positive interactions and social skills among the children.

Other Duties:
Participate in parent-teacher conferences as required.
Attend staff meetings and engage in professional development opportunities.
Aid in preparing materials and setting up the classroom.
Adhere to school policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
An Associates or Bachelor’s degree in early childhood
2+ years in childcare
