Position Description:

Our David C. Isenberg Family Early Childhood Center is a NAEYC and Brightstars accredited infant toddler program and preschool committed to providing a high quality, child-centered developmental program. Our unique program includes age appropriate educational and Judaic experiences in a secure and loving atmosphere that fosters cognitive, physical, emotional and social growth. We strive to provide quality care and education for children ages 3 months to 5 years.

As a Lead Teacher, you are responsible for the academic, social-emotional growth and development of all children in your care, which may include infants, toddlers and/or preschool age children. The Lead Teacher is also responsible for developing a partnership with families and communicating with them regularly. This position also provides supervision and support to assistant teachers, classroom floats and volunteers.

The Assistant Teacher, will work closely with the Lead Teacher to help deliver the academic, social-emotional growth and development of all children in your care, which may include infants, toddlers and/or preschool age children. The Assistant Teacher provides knowledge and insight, ideas and creativity to the teaching team, and helps maintain parent communication.

Qualifications:
Energetic, nurturing and motivated individuals are strongly encouraged to apply.

At least 1 year experience working with children required
CPR and First Aid Certification (Required)

Requirements for Lead Teacher:
At least 12 college credits in Early Childhood Education

Requirements for Assistant Teacher
Highschool Diploma

Must have passion for with working with kids
