Position Description:
Position Title: Infant Teacher- $18.50 per hour

Location: New Era Enrichment Academy, Rhode Island

Schedule: Full-Time between the hours of 6:30 am to 5:30 pm.

Candidates must:

Provide a nurturing, loving, & safe environment for children
Have knowledge of RIELDS or willingness to be trained
Have a minimum of 12 credits in early childhood
CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to complete.
Involved in curriculum planning for hands-on activities or willingness to learn
Be positive, energetic & able to work with others as a team
Have strong written and oral communication skills
Bilingual Individuals (English/ Spanish or Italian) is a PLUS +++

Qualifications:
Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field

Prior to a formal offer, the selected candidate must provide:

1. Background Clearance: Evidence of a cleared RI DHS Comprehensive Background Check (including fingerprinting and CANTS check).

2. Education Verification: Official college transcripts and copies of diplomas

3. Medical Clearance: Immunization record per RIDOH regulations.

4. Professional Registry: Active enrollment (or willingness to enroll) in the RI workforce registry (RISES).

5. CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to complete within 90 days of employment.
