Position Description:
We are looking for a part-time preschool teacher with a focus in art 2-3 days per week. (Mon, Thursday and possibly Wednesday.) 7:30-4:30
We are a small nature-based Montessori school located in the center of Little Compton. Our students are ages 3-5. We are looking for a teacher who would offer outdoor art experiences as well as ongoing indoor art projects. The role of the assistant is to help assist the children in supporting their needs with the goal of helping children become independent and confident.
Qualifications:
Must be over 18 with a RI DHS background check and clearance. Experience working with children. Enjoy connecting children to nature in all weather. Willing to help with daily classroom tasks such as set-up, dishes, laundry, end of day cleaning. Able to communicate with families daily. Available for staff meetings.

Our school year starts the week before Labor Day with teacher set-up week. School begins the Wednesday after Labor Day. Our school year end on or just before June 14.
