Position Description:
Join Our Team at Clubhouse Kids!
Clubhouse Kids is seeking a caring, reliable, and committed individual to join our amazing team of teachers. We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with children and creating a nurturing, engaging classroom environment.
The ideal candidate should be flexible with open availability and willing to follow all policies and regulations set by Rhode Island DHS and Clubhouse Kids. All staff members are expected to complete at least 24 hours of Professional Development annually, as required by DHS.
Responsibilities include:
-Maintain positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers
-Daily classroom routines and overall center upkeep
-Maintain an organized and engaging classroom environment
-Implement lesson plans and record observations throughout the day
-Update the Brightwheel app with meals, diapering/potty updates, and daily activities
-Support children with proper handwashing throughout the day
-Serve lunch and snacks; disinfect tables before and after meals
-Assist with diapering and toilet training
-Supervise children during nap time, including setting up and putting away cots according to the nap chart
-Supervise children during outdoor play on the playground
Qualifications:
Requirements:
-Flexible schedule with open availability
-Ability to follow DHS regulations and center policies
-Willingness to complete 24 hours of professional development annually
– Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or relative field preferred
-Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education
