Position Description:
Looking to hire immediately Full Time 8:30-5:30! We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Toddler teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of Toddler-aged children. The Toddler Teacher will be responsible for implementing age-appropriate curriculum, fostering a safe and inclusive classroom, and collaborating with parents to support each child’s growth.
Duties
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with RIELDS.
Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment for all students.
Monitor and assess children’s progress in various developmental areas, including social skills, language, and motor skills.
Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their curiosity and love for learning.
Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement strategies.
Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child’s development and classroom activities.
Maintain a clean and organized classroom space conducive to learning.
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance the educational experience for all students.
Requirements
Experience working with children of various ages.
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create an engaging learning environment.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
A nurturing demeanor combined with the ability to set clear boundaries for behavior management.
Qualifications:
1-2 Years of experience in a childcare center working with toddlers 2-3 years old
RIELDS a plus but not required
Must have high school diploma or equivalent
