Position Description:
Hiring teacher assistants to join our team! Working as a float in our toddler and preschool classrooms. Experience in an Early Childhood center preferred. Must be personable, nurturing, energetic and work well as part of a team. Looking for someone that has open availability and can be flexible with hours when needed. Full time: typical schedule is 4 days/week 8-5:30.

Responsibilities:
Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards
Support children’s social, emotional, and developmental growth through attentive caregiving and interaction
Supervise children during classroom activities, outdoor play, meals, and rest periods to ensure safety at all times
Help manage classroom routines and behavior management strategies to promote a positive learning environment
Provide basic first aid and respond appropriately to emergencies or health concerns
Maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials, toys, and learning resources

Qualifications:
-Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
-Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or similar environments
-Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices
-Completion of 24 hours of professional development each year
-Certification in first aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain upon hire within 90 days)
-Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and children
