Position Description:
We’re seeking compassionate, creative, and skilled teachers to join our early learning team. Key Responsibilities:
Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with the Rhode Island Early Learning Standards
Build warm, responsive relationships with children and families
Support children’s social-emotional development using positive guidance and trauma-informed practices
Observe, document, and assess children’s progress to inform instruction
Collaborate with teaching partners, and administrators to support inclusive learning
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
Communicate regularly with families to strengthen home–school connections

Qualifications:
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (or equivalent coursework)
RI Early Childhood certification preferred
Experience working with children in a licensed early learning setting
Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice, play-based learning, and family engagement
Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Commitment to equity, inclusion, and culturally responsive teaching
